Background:

The park near R.G. Baruah College, Fatasil Ambari known as Swahid Udyan is spread across an area of 1.5 Bigha (approx.) and is rectangular in shape. Initially there were no facilities and amenities in its precinct with only one fountain structure which was also in a dilapidated condition and filled with trash. There was no solid boundary wall. Hence, for a long time it was a much-awaited demand of the locals of greater Fatasil area for development of a recreational area with all modern facilities where they can breathe in fresh air and their children can play joyfully. The dream came to a fruition as GMDA in collaboration with AMRUT decided to transform this barren land into a stunning park .

For visitors in the age group upto 9 years: Free
For visitors in the age group of (9 – 75) years: ₹ 25/-
For visitors above the age of 75 years: Free
For visitors of category PWD / Specially Abled: Free
Extra Fee for Camera (normal) Still photography: ₹ 150/-
Extra Fee for Video Shooting(Commercial purpose): ₹ 1500/day
For Moring Walkers (Timing 5:00 AM to 10.00 AM): Free
N.B.:
1. 40% discount for School / College team.
2. Commercial videography by permission only.
3. No Entry Ticket will be issued to visitors after 7:30 PM.
